The lanes of the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, begin a short walk away, and the Japanese Covered Bridge is about 1.2 km from the door, so your days can move easily between sightseeing and a swim.
Six room types range from 30 m² doubles to a 60 m² Family Room for four. Every room has air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and soundproofing, and most open onto a terrace or balcony facing the garden, the pool or the town.

The Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation is about 400 m away, the Museum of Trade Ceramics around 800 m, and the Japanese Covered Bridge roughly 1.2 km, a walk of about a quarter of an hour.
Da Nang International Airport is about 30 km away, usually 30 to 45 minutes by car or Grab depending on traffic, and you should allow a little more for the return trip. The hotel can arrange an airport shuttle at extra charge, and Yellow Bus no. 1 runs to central Hoi An in 60 to 90 minutes. Ignore unofficial drivers offering rides in the arrivals hall. If you come by car or motorbike, private parking at the hotel is free. Check-in starts at 14:00: let the hotel know your arrival time in advance and keep a photo ID and credit card to hand.
The Old Town is best explored on foot, and its streets are closed to motorbikes from 9:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 21:30. One entrance ticket gives five visits among its heritage sites, from the Japanese Covered Bridge to Tan Ky Old House, a merchant home from 1741, and the Chinese assembly halls. Go early, between 6:00 and 8:00, for empty streets, or after dusk when the lanterns come on; on the 14th day of each lunar month electric lights are switched off for the lantern festival. For the sea, An Bang is the liveliest beach and Cua Dai the more local one, and the road through the rice fields of Tra Que village makes a lovely bike ride. February to April is the most pleasant time to visit, June to August is very hot, and October and November bring the heaviest rain.
